A native of the South Carolina Lowcountry, Betsy grew up with a profound appreciation for historic architecture. Her love of aesthetic design led her to study fashion in Florence, Italy, but her ardor for historic preservation held strong. After college she moved to New York City where she melded her passions for architecture and style as she studied at the New York School for Interior Design and worked for nearly a decade under some of the world’s most renowned designers.
Betsy believes in the power of story. She selects antique and handcrafted pieces and works closely with artisans to forge custom finishes. Every space she creates must be both elegant and comfortable, with unique details that seamlessly blend the history of a property with clean, modern touches.
She relishes each new client relationship and always aims to gain a deep understanding of their personal preferences and needs. While every client is different, the end-goal is always the same: to make their home or business more beautiful, functional and serene.
